THE OPPORTUNITY
Grey County Tourism wanted strategic support to increase their sustainable tourism revenues through managing and marketing Grey County as a tourism destination.
THE PROCESS
In partnership with Resource Management Consulting Group, BC Hughes completed the Demand Generators Product/Market Match Pillar of the project. This included reviewing all previous research, assessment of demand generators, researching current tourism trends, and analyzing stakeholder input in an effort to determine the ideal product focus for the county.
THE OUTCOME
Grey County Tourism received strategic and actionable recommendations for each of the four pillars including detailed recommendations, action steps, responsibilities, implementation cost estimates and time horizons so that they could use to mobilize strategic destination development and management at a county level.
