The Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games is an award-winning iconic event held annually for over two decades in the town of Kincardine Ontario. The event features international pipe bands, live music, cultural workshops, and exciting Scottish dancing and highland game competitions. This not for profit organization needed a review of their business and marketing in order to sustain and grow both the organization and the annual event.
The BC Hughes consulting team was hired to take on the project which involved undertaking a SWOT analysis, stakeholder discussions and research and contextual analysis.
BC Hughes provided a comprehensive 5-year Business and Marketing Plan strategy that highlighted site operations, logistics, programming, board governance, marketing tactics, and execution costs and timelines. The plan allowed the festival to implement events, programs, and marketing changes to support its operations.
