THE OPPORTUNITY
What’s more relaxing than promoting relaxation? Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain retained BC Hughes’ marketing team to manage its digital marketing from 2013 to 2019. The tasks included growing the spa’s social accounts, promoting the spa to potential customers and communicating spa expectations to guests.
THE PROCESS
During this time, BC Hughes created annual digital marketing plans which included implementing digital advertising to promote getaways and gift card sales, running the Facebook page, creating content for the spa’s blog – the Relaxation Insider, and creating content and designing their enewsletter. BC Hughes also developed and ran many contests for Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain including their wildly successful and highly anticipated annual Christmas contest.
THE OUTCOME
BC Hughes grew Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain’s Facebook fan base by over 60,000 people while managing their account. Enewsletter open rates were excessively high, and click through rates for digital ads exceeded normal rates. BC Hughes also worked with Scandinave Spa and Brian Hunt Visual to create the Road to Wellness video series, working with professional athletes and other well-known influencers to promote the importance of wellness.
