THE OPPORTUNITY:
Travel Manitoba engaged BC Hughes to assist tourism operators in developing engaging tourism experiences. The BC Hughes team designed and delivered experience-development programming to give tourism operators the tools and confidence to build memorable, market-ready visitor experiences across the province.
THE PROCESS:
BC Hughes facilitated a series of dynamic 2-hour workshops featuring national best-practice examples, hands-on inspiration, and peer-to-peer idea sharing. Each participant was then offered a dedicated 1-hour one-on-one session with a BC Hughes team member, designed to help refine their concepts, address challenges, and move their experience ideas closer to market readiness.
THE OUTCOME:
With 56 participants registered, the program was successful in providing Manitoba businesses with the foundations in experience development. The training acted as a starting point for Travel Manitoba to engage operators and start the tourism development process aimed at the creation of new experiences.
