Edward Fuels wanted to educate people about energy-efficient heat pump technology at a time when consumers were excited that natural gas was coming to their communities.
BC Hughes looked at the target market and considered how to get them excited and sharing the information Edward Fuels had to offer. What better way to get people to share, than to use FART jokes (yes fart jokes), a play on the most natural of gasses.
The campaign, which was designed to get a customer to book an appointment with an EF technician, blew the initial projections out of the water. So many appointments were booked, that the campaign overwhelmed staff with a wealth of potential new clients.
