THE OPPORTUNITY
Life is sweet when you’re on vacation and even better when you’re eating candy dockside at The Sweet Shop in Tobermory, Ontario. The iconic sweet treat store reached out to BC Hughes to help enhance their brand presence and to provide operational and business recommendations for strategies to enhance current (and future) product offers and messaging to expanding their untapped visitor experience opportunities.
THE PROCESS
Powered by hot chocolate and with ice cream cones in hand, BC Hughes toured on-site to see (and taste) areas of opportunity for brand implementation, heightened visitor experience and increased profit margin centres. BC Hughes completed an in-depth analysis and provided recommendations on branding, wholesale and retail strategies, store layout, signage, infrastructure design, customer service, marketing tactics, façade signage design, and easy ways they could handcraft delicious visitor experiences.
THE OUTCOME
The Sweet Shop added a comprehensive brand toolkit into their recipe collection which geared them up and supported the implementation of new (and improved) business processes. They upped their memorable visitor experiences tactics which is oh so sweet for everyone and means more repeat customers.
